Day to Day
Ensures the KitchenAid brand image & experience is accurately upheld and consistently maintained by overseeing designers and working with the Senior Global Marketing Manager and implement and adapt creative directives as well as lead and execute the creative development of global visual projects all in line with the assigned budgets
Manages a team of 2 full time employees
What You Will Do
Develop long-term creative direction for the Brand based on competition, market, global, and category trends and Marketing and Sales goals
Maintain a roadmap for creative brand efforts translated from business needs
Consistently represent and understand the Brand Values and communicate them visually through all visual creative materials
Be aware of our competitors and their creative approach
Create designs, layouts for all Small Appliances creative (i.e. packaging, specification sheets, product catalogs, etc.)
Manage all yearly budgets
Assist with advertising Campaign Rollout
Maintain and communicate a thorough understanding of all relevant company, store, brand and creative information
Participate in the recruitment of local creative and production companies
Ability to problem solve, to work in fast paced environment, to handle difficult situations and to provide superior customer service to both internal and external customers and employees
Review all final creative and be responsible for the accuracy of all art files
Develop a thorough understanding of all retail partners, including their design standards and requirements
Lead graphics team of two designers
Develop global packaging, videos, photography that align with go to market strategy for product launches
Align with marketing initiatives to deliver on-target creative solutions that communicate the needs of the business
Provide art direction on commercial shoots and lead recipe strategy for advertising
Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed
Education: Bachelors Degree
Work
Experience: Minimum 8 years of graphic design or relevant experience
Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience
Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver
Strong typography skills, packaging experience and ability to direct photo/video shoots
Ability to collaborate with other professionals: photographers, stylists, videographers, marketers, product teams and production
In-depth knowledge of products and brands
