Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP)


The PA or NP effectively identifies, evaluates and addresses disease prevention and promotion issues of the Medicare or Medicare Advantage member while conducting health assessment in the member's home. This position will be responsible for visiting Medicare and/or Medicare Advantage members in the home. During these visits, the PA or NP will do a review of systems, history and physical, as well as any indicated screenings:
UA, blood draw, spirometry, etc. This position also requires that the PA or NP makes recommendations of care to the member. The PA or NP is responsible for dropping off collected specimens; complete accurate documentation of all present and observed diagnoses for each member as well as educating patients and / or families about preventive care, medical issues and use of prescribed medical treatments and / or medications. While scheduling is made within reasonable distance, some travel may be required.
The PA or NP also idenitfies specific disease processes and environmental risks of Medicare and / or Medicare Advantage members. Performs evals and designated tests such as:
H and P, neuro, cardiac, height and weight, fall risk, vaccines and other testing associated with general examination.
The PA or NP will receive general supervision under a collaborating general practice physician but is still responsible for completion of necessary paperwork to secure necessary collaborating paperwork.

Certification or License:
CRNP or PA License
Preferred Experience in Geriatric Care
Experience in providing Home Health Care
Experience in performing physical exams, diagnostic tests / screenings; developing treatment plansEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
