Senior Sales Manager




The Senior Sales Manager will lead the CPG sales team, managing all sales channels.The role requires an innovative, visionary leader who can grow our Consumer Products business and take market share within this channel. This candidate will have a solid background in CPG Sales. Experience with Walmart and Target preferred. Experience managing a team or broker relationships is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities include:

Own the creation and execution of the CPG sales strategy
Act as an expert in DIY/Hardware and food drug mass (FDM) channels by having a thorough knowledge of competition, market trends, suggested retail pricing and promotional opportunities and threats. Communicate this knowledge internally to appropriate departments to maximize selling opportunities
Responsible for hitting monthly sales plan and increasing Sales volume
Manage key DIY/FDM customers and grow our listings within these accounts
Manage relationship with broker network and provide support to brokers to grow our business
Develop the Marketing plan for all CPG trade customers and communicate it to brokers
Develop joint business plans with key accounts and assist broker team to develop customer business plans
Expand the customer base (new retailers)
Expand product listings and points of distribution within the current customer base
Manage internal relationships with Product Development, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance

Qualifications:

What You Need To Succeed

Bachelor's Degree is required, MBA a plus
Minimum 5 years of Customer Management experience within the DIY/FDM/grocery channel and Mass Merchant Channel
Minimum 5 years relevant CPG experience to include some combination of: Customer Marketing, Trade Marketing, or Category Management
Prior corporate buying experience with Wal-Mart or Target preferred
Broker or Team management experience is a plus
Previous people management experience is a plus
Analytical skills and experience working with syndicated data i.e., Nielsen, IRI, Retail-Link
Competitive attitude, willingness to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and desire to win

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
