The Operations Accounting Manager is charged with the oversight of the finances of the company and daily operations of the company and all associated divisions. Serves as a member of the Management Team and The Crisis Management Team. Will provide leadership to the production management team and services to them by development of effective reporting. Will have decision-making responsibilities concerning the implementation of fiscal policy, dismissal authority, and is responsible for the enforcement of Food Safety Compliance. Will present a positive appearance and communication with vendors and firms supplying services to the organization and may represent the company at technical meetings and industry gatherings as required.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Purchasing of materials
Development of a comprehensive costing program
Daily Production Cost analysis
Monthly Financial Analysis
Food Safety/Plant Safety Records
Clerical Staff management
Insurance analysis and procurement
Capital expansion development and analysis
Labor relations and resolution
Monthly Financial presentation to Board of Directors
Other duties and responsibilities as may arise or directed by the President or the Board of Directors

Qualifications: 5-10 years minimum in Financial and/or Production Management roles in a manufacturing environment.
Education and
Experience: Minimum of a Bachelors degree with an emphasis business and finance. Will have administrative experience in the same or related industry. Experience should include costing and manufacturing.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Operations Accounting Manager should have proven leadership skills with the ability to form consensus while having the confidence to make decisions and accept the consequences. Have good communication skills with both subordinates and upper management. Have the ability to handle multiple tasks and concerns. Have the honesty and integrity to accept his/her own and others errors and find cures or remedies with minimal disruption. Excellent written skills to communicate financial position of the company and its individual components.
