The Application Analyst will be responsible for application development, administration, troubleshooting and general support of numerous business applications. These applications include SalesLogix CRM, Oracle ERP, barcode label printing, EDI, and custom applications. Excellent troubleshooting and communications skills are mandatory while maintaining a positive, constructive, team-oriented attitude. Training will be provided in SalesLogix CRM and Oracle ERP development for successful candidates.
Job Functions
Adhere closely to established standards and best practices. Individual must be capable of translating business requirements into system or technical requirements. Work with end users to define project requirements. Develop code to established standards and project requirements. Monitor and ensure the reliability and integrity of the code developed. Maintain thorough documentation. Provide customer support and training. Perform ad hoc data extraction and report writing as required. Candidate must be able to work alone and in small groups, be customer focused, willing to learn new applications and technology, and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Job Requirements:
Four-year B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent technology degree. Four years of professional development experience in a business environment can be in lieu of the degree requirement
1-3 years of experience in Information Technology
Proficiency with SQL Series, both ad hoc and embedded in code or reports
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
In addition to the basics above, 2 of the following desired requirements MUST be met:
- Visual Basic development experience.
- Crystal Reports development experience (strongly preferred).
- Any ERP or CRM experience.
- Oracle E-Business Suite, SalesLogix CRM or SAP B1 application experience (strongly preferred).
- Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
- Experience working for a manufacturing company.
- Experience installing and supporting packaged applications in a Windows server environment.
Analytical strength is necessary to provide strong troubleshooting to resolve complex problemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
