Well established specialty automotive component provider is seeking several skilled Continuous Improvement Leaders with 5+ years manufacturing experience for direct hire career opportunities based in northern Indiana, west-central Michigan, and south-western Michigan.
Responsibilities for the Lead Engineer
The Continuous Improvement Lead will support a high volume production, automotive component manufacturing operation
Responsible for leading, implementing and integrating all continuous improvement initiatives for plant manufacturing processes
Utilize problem solving skills and root-cause analysis to improve manufacturing processes, reduce scrap and generate cost savings for the plant
Monitor results in Cost, Quality, Production, Safety, and People throughout CI programs/initiatives to measure for effective deployment of the methodology
Requirements for the Lead Engineer
Aluminum casting or automotive component mfg. experience preferred - Toyota Production System exp a big plus!
Hands-on scrap reduction, Lean implementation, equipment/process improvement background
BS Engineering degree (IE, ME, Mfg) and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
Basic to advanced statistical tools experience (Pareto, fishbone, histogram, etc)
Lean Manufacturing experience (Kaizen, root-cause analysis, 5s, Total Production Management (TPM), Single-minute Exchange of Die (SMED), or similar programs)
Previous Plant floor experience preferred
Willing to travel to support other regional plants (Up to 30% of time)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
