The Customer Service Specialist will interact with the company's clients, employees, and community members, by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
This position will also function as The Center's Safety, Accessibility, Risk (SAR) Officer by chairing the SAR Committee.
This position will also welcome each person entering The Center by facilitating our new employee orientation and our new client orientation.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Adhere to The Center Star Standards (Service, Team, Attitude, Reliability).
Treat all employees and clients respectfully.
Cultivate relationships with internal and external individuals.
Set a positive example in appearance, demeanor, and communication while maintaining confidentiality.
Lead the SAR Committee and oversee safety, risk, audits, compliance and accessibility programs.
Recruit at job fairs and conduct new employee and client orientations.
Update orientation forms and identify workforce training needs.
Conduct annual safety, risk, and accessibility assessments.
Monitor safety supplies and facilitate emergency drills quarterly.
Conduct follow-up calls with clients post-programming.
Coordinate staff training and job shadowing.
Manage the customer service hotline and provide services as needed.
Assist with program management and staff enrollment in external training.
Track and address staff training needs.
Assist Program Managers with SILs' programming requirements.
Facilitate exit interviews for all staff members and track patterns to report.
Assist with terminating employees by obtaining all outstanding documents, and company property.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
5 Years plud of customer service related expeience Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Outstanding communication and people skills Knowledge of industry's legal rules and guidelines Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Retain a working cell phone for emergencies.
