Requirements:
Essential Functions Collect, audit, and input billing data for submission to all Michigan Medicaid payors.
Communicate with representatives from Electronic Medical Records system to resolve billing-related issues stemming from software.
Assist billing specialist in working with Michigan Medicaid to address rejections/appeals, authorizations, and contracts.
Maintain working knowledge of several different Community Mental Health provider billing policies and procedures.
Effectively and professionally communicate billing issues with LOGAN leadership.
General Responsibilities Expected to maintain a high standard of customer service, professionalism, and respect for employees.
Embody and lead with LOGAN values of Respect, Kindness, Honesty, Loyalty, and Quality for everyone at LOGAN.
Maintain acceptable levels of attendance and punctuality.
Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all work-related information.

QUALIFICATIONS Education High school diploma (minimum) Experience Experience in health care or a related field preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Bulleted list; no numerical or alphabetical ordering Self-initiates activities.

Demonstrates good judgment at all times.
Demonstrates computer literacy skills.
