Ravitron is an established technology firm with over 31 years in business has an immediate full time opening for a Data/Telecom/Network Technician.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable history in the field of networking, PC Service, or telecom, and/or certification(s) on specific brands of Telephony / Network systems.
About You:
You will join a rapidly deployable team responsible for day-to-day technology installations throughout Michigan and Northern Indiana.
Installations include, but are not limited to; IP and Legacy Telephone, CCTV, Network Electronics, Audio/Video, Cabling etc.
A competitive salary package w/ benefits, including paid holidays, vacation, retirement, and access to company vehicle.
This is primarily a field-oriented position that will require a lot of local travel, some regional travel and on occasion longer distances.
Full time with overtime as needed.
Candidate should have at least 3 year of documented experience working in the technology field or be a recent graduate of a technology education program, or equivalent military IT experience.
Ravitron provides formal and On the Job Training, but you should have experience with one, or more of the following disciplines:
Telephone System Installation & Programming CCTV System Installation Computer Service and Operations Low Voltage / Fiber Cable Installation Must have current driver's license.
Qualifications seeking but not required:
Leadership experience Technical Engineering experience such as routers, switches, VLANs, etc.
Other IT disciplines such as Windows or Linux servers, Cisco CLI, etc.
General VoIP experience with IP PBX and associated end-points.
